Vytality at Home Launches Senior Home Care Services App
Calgary is facing a grey tsunami. Thousands of seniors and their families are navigating the health care system looking for help. This is where Vytality at Home steps in with a full range of services that digitally connects vulnerable seniors with their family and services via an App available at vytality.ca and the App Store.
Vytality is a local Calgary success story and now provides game-changing, cost-effective services, that have taken an industry notoriously lacking in transparency, and opened the doors by connecting the customer directly with their loved ones and the people actually providing the senior services in real-time 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week.
“I love seeing the peace of mind our services brings to people, and how they get comfort knowing who is coming to their home, and getting notifications that the team is onsite along while being able to communicate directly with our team,” says Nicole Dyer, co-founder of Vytality at Home. “The people using the App are those that are managing the care of a loved one, but cannot be there themselves, and in most cases, it is the daughter managing the care of one or both of their parents.”
Vog App Developers proudly developed Vytality at Home App.
Although the App is a tool to access and interact with the Vtyality team and loved ones, there are also other ways to order services ranging from companionship, social stimulation, engagement and a multitude of daily living assistance functions.
“Having someone to take mom out for a walk – knowing that they are safe has been a really big draw,” says Dyer. “The team and the client talk, get to know each other really well while they are out walking and this significantly boosts the overall well-being of the client – – we have heard such great feedback from the families about the social stimulation and getting ‘mom’ or ‘dad’ outside!”
The growing team at Vytality at Home were carefully screened and selected by the founders Brad Lohman and Dyer. Collectively having worked with seniors for over 40 years, they are passionate about their work and know the right combination of education, experience and personality that they want working for their company.
“We have seen first hand the great benefits that our care services can provide to seniors and their families, but we have also seen what poor delivery or a blatant lack of delivery can do to a senior ranging from no shows or the family members taking time away from work to manage unforeseen and foreseen care needs,” says Dyer.
“We have an App and a care team, but we really are in the business of keeping families happy and connected while providing exceptional experiences.” Nicole Dyer, Co-Founder, Vytality at Home Inc.
“This is such an amazing idea. You truly captured a gap in the market. As a part-time nurse I’ve realized that I will need to face the realities that sooner rather then later this would become a topic of discussion for my family. I see first hand how a successful discharge “HOME” of the elderly has a huge impact on the rate of return to hospital for patients. Being able to age safely in the comfort of your own home is always the biggest wish list of my patients. Good for you!! I wish you all the success.” Fatima Nasser, Calgary, AB
Established in 2018, Vytality at Home Inc. has developed the App technology for its sole use and is looking forward to expanding our services outside of Calgary to other areas in Alberta and then across Canada.
